BSL MIDDLE EAST IS LAUNCHED

BSL World launched its first worldwide office outside of London in Abu Dhabi's twofour54 media zone, BSL Middle East in May 2010.

BSL Middle East successfully organised Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management's staff event, at the Yas Marina Circuit, for 350 expat and local Emirate staff providing entertainment to appeal to all to include a women's only spa, men's games room, kids majilis and a DJ.

Subsequently, the BSL Team have been working on a number of proposals from high profile locally based companies and been busy with business development meetings to ensure that all potential clients are aware of BSL services and that an events solutions company, with local expertise but working at international standards is now available in Abu Dhabi.

Discussions are also underway for BSL Middle East to organise a F1 Driver's Golf Tournament and bring an excellent well known tribute band to the region.

On top of that BSL Team already have many established local and international contacts and are holding meetings with these to set up successful working partnerships.

It already looks like the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix period, 12 to 14 November, will be a hectic period for the BSL Middle East Team, with many requests for BSL services to provide Paddock Club expertise, VIP logistics programmes to include managing the VIP logistics within the circuit on behalf of Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management and travel arrangements with tailor-made Abu Dhabi excursions.

CANNIZARO FESTIVAL 2010

BSL ran and promoted the 2010 Wimbledon Common Cannizaro Park Festival, which took place over 16 days in July. The Festival was a huge success and was the first time BSL was involved. The acts ranged from pop/rock music, tribute bands, jazz, opera and comedy. The festival was blessed by the glorious summer weather. It was BSL’s responsibility for every aspect of the festival including artists, stage, light, sound, seating, marketing, ticket sales, security, health and safety, food and drink concessions etc.

CANNIZARO FESTIVAL 2010

BSL are delighted to reveal that they will be re-launching the Wimbledon Common Cannizaro Festival for 2010. Set in the charming Italian Gardens of Cannizaro House, The Wimbledon Cannizaro Festival is back for 2010.
Commencing on 2nd July the festival will offer 16 nights of fun-packed entertainment including comedy evenings, tribute bands and popular jazz.
Tickets go on sale at the end of March through the Ambassador Theatre Box Office.

 

LOTUS LAUNCH

BSL were thrilled to be involved with Lotus Racing today as they unveiled their stunning new Lotus Cosworth T127 for the first time.

BSL excecuted a glittering event in London's Royal Horticultural Hall to introduce the car, team and drivers to the worldwide media.

Head of Events and Hospitality, Karin Fink was delighted with the results, "Your team showed a great level of dedication, motivation and attention to detail all the way through - from early preparation stages until the actual day of the event".

FORCE INDIA 2010

With constant changes to the 2010 F1 season, BSL are thrilled to announce that Force India will be battling for the championship once again in 2010. We look forward to our third year working with the team and running their vibrant Paddock Club.

We are happy to announce that Lexus have confrimed that they will activate their sponsorship of The Open Championship for 2010 in St Andrews, Scotland . BSL are extremely happy to be working with Lexus once again.
 

ABU DHABI SUCCESS

After two weeks in the desert, the BSL team have arrived back in Blighty having successfully pulled off their biggest challenge yet. Employed by ADMM (the Abu Dhabi circuit) BSL were asked to organise the VIP transport logistics for the very first Abu Dhabi race. After a lot of blood, sweat and tears we are happy to inform that the mission was a success.

Today marks the start of a new chapter in the evolution of the BSL story. We thought it was about time we embraced our famous nickname with pride, dropped the whole 'Bodansky' thing (no offence Jonathan) - and became BSL once and for all. So, from this day forward, the people you know as BSL, will also know themselves as BSL, we'll be green, and you'll be able to find us at info@bslworld.com, as well as at various exciting and glamorous destinations around the world!

A GREENER WORLD

As you can see our world has gone green! Not only did we want to brighten ourselves up to catch your eye but also to mark the start of our venture to reduce our carbon emissions. We’re told it’s going to take us a while, but with a little bit of hard work and dedication to the cause, BSL World will not only be green but will attempt to become carbon neutral by the end of 2010!

To get this venture off the ground (while we work behind the scenes to cut our office energy expenditure), we are vowing to offset on an ongoing basis, 100% of the carbon emissions* that are generated from the one part of our business we have limited control over- our air travel.

GOOD LUCK TIM!

Today we bid a temporary farewell to Tim as he heads off to the sunny sand dunes of Abu Dhabi to become our on-site consultant to ADMM as we work towards supporting them in their delivery of the 1st Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi GP in November. For the next 3 months Tim will be plotting, charting, scaling, spread-sheeting and maybe even drilling and digging as we plot our course towards delivering the VIP circuit logistics for more than 14 000 a day for three days at this year's championship finale.
